Pronounced per-ee-KAL-lis hy-BRID-uh, the vibrant daisy-like flowers of ‘Angel Mix’ are sure to brighten your winter and early spring gardens. The blooms are bright and cheerful, and because they are a cool season perennial, they are the perfect plant for transitioning your window boxes, porch and patio containers into spring mode.
‘Angel Mix’ has a compact, mounding growth habit of 8-12 inches tall and wide. They thrive in fertile, well-drained soil that is kept consistently moist – but not soggy. They are the ideal companion plant to Viola ‘Penny Clear Yellow’, Alyssum ‘Snow Crystals’, Linaria ‘Northern Lights’ and Flowering Kale ‘Kamome Red’.
When ‘Angel Mix’ has completed its bloom cycle, taking the time to prune back the dead flowers will reward you with new flush of buds and blooms. Fertilize once a month with a half-strength balanced fertilizer. Plant in partial to full shade. Attracts Butterflies, but is Deer resistant. The Sunset Western Climate Zones are 16, 17, 22-24. Tender perennial, often grown as an annual. We are currently growing Cineraria ‘Angle Mix’ in 4.5” pots.
