SunPatiens Compact Series (Impatiens x hybrid)

The SunPatiens Compact series provides unsurpassed flower-power from spring through a hard frost. They are easy to grow and require little maintenance, all the while providing a stunning display of non-stop color in the landscape or in containers. These robust plants have larger flowers and a bushier growth habit than Impatiens walleriana. They grow 14-32 inches tall and 14-24 inches wide. The dark green, glossy foliage contrast nicely with their big, bright blossoms.

As the name implies, these Impatiens were developed to thrive in full sun and are not adversely effected by high heat and humidity. With that in mind, full shade should be avoided with this type of Impatiens. An added bonus is that they are not susceptible to Impatiens Downey Mildew.
