Helichrysm petiolare ‘White Licorice’
Helichrysm petiolare ‘White Licorice’
With the majority of plants having varying shades of green foliage, it’s always nice to come across a plant that stands out among the rest with its silver-white foliage. Helichrsym petiolare ‘White Licorice’ is one such plant. This attractive plant grows 8-12” tall and 18-20” wide, and is a good filler plant in beds and borders. Its long graceful branches add a touch of elegance as they trail over the edges of hanging baskets, window boxes and mixed containers, and the cool silvery foliage contrasts nicely with bold-colored plants and flowers in the garden.
‘White Licorice’ is exceptionally easy to grow and will thrive in part to full sun. It is both drought and heat tolerant and is hardy to 25-30°F. We are growing Helichrysm petiolare ‘White Licorice’ in one gallon containers. Check out our website www.clearwatercolor.com to see photos of these and many more that we are growing.
